Co-Director - The Restart Project
There are a lot of things that stop us from fixing our things, so now it’s normal to throw away and buy new when something breaks. I’ll talk through the reasons why we’re throwing so much stuff away, why repair seems so hard, and what we can do to bring repair – and reuse – within reach for more people.
Fiona is UK Co-Director at The Restart Project, which aims to keep our electronics in use for as long as possible through repair and reuse. She has spent over 15 years in climate campaigning and public engagement. At the Restart Project, Fiona leads on UK campaigning and political engagement, and oversees UK programmes, including high street Fixing Factories and a trial Repair Voucher Scheme.
