Nobody is perfect, neither is AI! Learning from mistakes to improve AI in the future.

This talk summarises the ways by which Ai can fail and classifies them in 3 categories: at model level, infrastructure level and human factors considerations.

About the speaker:

Christina is the Director of the CRRAG research group, an associate professor of technology enabled care and a world expert of Ai in medical imaging. She has published more than 100 peer reviewed papers, 6 chapters, 8 guidelines or standards has lifetime grant funding as PI or Co-I of approximately £3.8 million and was the lead editor of the textbook Ai for radiographers (2026) by Springer: https://link.springer.com/book/10.1007/978-3-032-05080-9
Christina is a passionate educator and enjoys cross disciplinary collaborations. Her AI expertise lies on AI literacy, Ai implementation, AI governance and using AI for good purposes.
